It's interesting to me what a huge deal "Ghost Hunting" has become. Personally I find many of the shows
irritating, but they all take their turns in this respect with me. I don't go out of my way to watch them. When I
see principle investigators running around yelling at the top of their lungs, occasionally using fowl language, at
times astonished over what they think they are witnessing or filming they loose me. Leaves me wondering "but
Isn't it what they wanted to happen? Didn't they position themselves in such a situation that they would
encounter said response from the ghost/entity in question? Why should it surprise them to see the door open
on it's own when they are supposed to have experience with these things." If you expect it to happen and you
have experience with these things, why should it provoke such a alarming response that it must be bleeped?
"Must they over react to the door opening? Tone it down. "Why be bleeped so much?" "Why allow a person
afraid of heights to go up a stair case?" But think about that, if it were toned down would you still sit on the
edge of your seat after learning the investigator guy is afraid of heights? It's that "what if" factor that hooks
many people.

Segue:
I also wonder, how wise is it to be showing on TV how an alleged possession is to be handled, is there no
compassion or respect for the people involved that they allow themselves to be on TV? How wise is it for a
show to show how an entity is allowed to enter a person on the show for the purpose of spirit communication
without also showing the various protective methods they employed to get to that point or even to give
warnings to the audience to not try this. Many of the shows show only 1/2 or less of what is going on or
processes/procedures. Few shows go into anything like this in any depth, instead opting to go for the
sensational over the best practices and the important why. I am against information like this in the mainstream
simply because it could be misused down the road by an unbalanced, uninformed "uninitiated" person. I do not
recommend this on TV and allot of it I don't recommend at the bookstore either but this is another topic. I only
mention it here as I have seen these instances on some of the TV shows. If you can't fit the warnings into the
.hr format, don't do it is my advice and this coming from someone with a background in Ceremonial Magic.

Back on track:
I have a difficult time watching the TV shows for any length of time. My hubby won't watch them due to the
perceived high tacky factor, so much hype and running around crazy  like -where is their science? That can be
what someone with 20yrs lab management experience might expect to see on the one hand, not a bunch of
people using fowl language and looking all spooky and freaked out. Like some I end up talking to the TV screen
with the same zest some ghost folks exhibit yelling at one another on the show "did you hear/see this or that"
sort of thing and again all the bleeping. The magazines I have reviewed are pretty tacky IMHO. I find allot of it
tacky personally. Some of the groups are the show... Is it all about ratings you think? What is their purpose
anyway? Do you really need a big van with zzzzz ghost folks splashed all over it?  And many of the websites
are so idiotic looking.  Don't get me started.

    Some Orbs. Energy or not?
                           & some rants.
Being in the wilds of SW Florida looking for deer, bear
or other denizens of the forest or hammock at dusk or
dawn is not without dangers.  Be sure you know where
you are going and are prepared to beat a safe, hasty
retreat if you have to.  Never harass wildlife or attempt
to feed and
always assume that a body of water in
Florida has a gator in it.  Know your poisonous plants,
snakes and spiders.  Be safe and be aware.  Bobcat
and fox are not necessarily shy of people, I've had both
cross my trail.
Feral Hog in a clearing
Highly luminous, color changing streaking light only visible to the camera.  There was a herd of deer in this
area I was attempting to photograph.  In the other photo I have showing the deer, another streak of light
also appears in same frame as the deer.  Whatever causes the streaks seems to be associated with the
deer at this area of this Park.  In the original image you can make out more of the colors in the streak.
This is not a firefly.
